RELATIONSHIP ADVICE FROM A MANS POINT OF VIEW

Enriching a relationship takes a proactive approach if couples expect to avoid separation or divorce. Too often, men can get stuck in a defensive position—pitted against their partner. Playing offense in a relationship for men is vital to its longevity. Teaching men to engage in positive responses and behaviors can reposition them to deal with conflict effectively.

Furthermore, we will address matters like communication, traditional background and culture, religious alignment or differences, diversity and unity, priorities, and sexual compatibility. All of these topics, and more, will be tailored to what each person needs most to make your relationship more pleasurable and successful.

The following are some of the relationship problems men can face:

RELATIONSHIP ISSUES

Disunity

Feeling unappreciated

Stonewalling or a lack of communicating

Stress associated with work

Depression

Dealing with the children

Pornography

Unforgiveness

Infidelity

Compromising relationships

Lack of romance

Mismatched sex drive

Incapable of dealing with your feelings

Burn out

RELATIONSHIP FAILURES

Relationship break-ups, whether from an open marriage, marriage, or divorce, are some of life’s most monumental experiences. All of them can be extremely painful for everyone involved–friends, children, in-laws, relatives, and even pets.

For example, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (2017), a little less than 50% of marriages end in divorce, and one-third of all break-ups occur within the first five years of marriage–the time when most couples start their families. The truth is, break-ups, regardless of how amicable they are, can be a highly stressful and life-changing event. The sheer volume of legal, emotional, and logistical issues that have to be addressed can be overwhelming. Also, the idea of creating an entirely new life for yourself can feel paralyzing.

If you have dissolved a relationship of any kind, we can guide you through this painful and uncertain time while providing you with the tools you need to move on positively and healthily. We can also teach you how to resume a fulfilling life and minimize the impact on others who have been affected. In most cases, we can help you better understand why your relationship failed to repeat the mistakes made.

If an individual or couple chooses to engage in Relationship Advice, our firm has an ethical responsibility to refrain from providing legal mediation assistance.
